1. Information we collect
- Account data: email, display name (from email/password or Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication).
- Fitness data: body measurements (glutes, hips, weight), workout logs (date, duration, exercises completed), onboarding profile (goal, fitness level, height, age, units).
- App preferences: chosen language/locale (stored per-user in Firestore).
- Referral / virality data: referral code (derived from UID), referredBy / referralsCount (for the invite friends feature).
- Premium status: whether you have an active subscription (synced from Google Play / App Store receipts).
- Technical data: Firebase Analytics events, Crashlytics reports (device model, OS, crashes — no personal identifiers beyond account).
2. How we use your information
We use the data to:
- Provide the core features (personalized workouts, progress charts, streak calculation, nutrition tips).
- Sync your progress across devices via Firestore (real-time listeners).
- Enable the referral system (invite friends feature).
- Unlock and manage Premium subscriptions.
- Improve the app (anonymous analytics and crash reporting).
3. Data storage and security
All personal fitness data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore under your user ID (/users/{your-uid}). Access is strictly controlled by Firestore Security Rules — only you (your authenticated UID) can read or write your documents and subcollections.
Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth. Passwords are never stored by us.
We do not sell or rent your data.
4. Third-party services
- Firebase (Google): Auth, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Hosting.
- Google Play / Apple App Store: In-app subscriptions and restore purchases.
- Google Sign-In: Optional sign-in method.
These providers have their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not share your personal fitness data with other users or third parties, except:
- Aggregated/anonymous analytics.
- When required by law.
- The public referral code mapping (only the code → your UID, no measurements or other data) so friends can apply your invite code.
6. Your rights and choices (including data deletion)
- You can edit your name and language preference inside the app (Profile tab).
- You can sign out at any time.
- Self-serve deletion (recommended): In the app go to Profile → Account → "Delete account & all data". This permanently removes your user profile, all body measurements, workout logs, onboarding data, referral records, and your Firebase Auth account. The action is irreversible.
- Request deletion by email: Visit our dedicated Account Deletion Request page, tap "Request account deletion (via email)" in the Account section of the Profile tab, or email contact@peachboom.app with subject "Data deletion request" and include your account email + user ID. We will process the request and confirm deletion.
- You can manage subscriptions directly in Google Play or App Store.
7. Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Data retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active. Upon deletion request we remove personal data within a reasonable time (some logs may remain in backups for a short period for operational reasons).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Nous collectons les données de compte (email, nom via Firebase Auth), vos mesures corporelles, historiques d'entraînements, préférences (langue) et statut Premium. Toutes vos données fitness sont stockées dans Firestore et protégées par des règles de sécurité strictes (seul votre UID authentifié peut y accéder). Nous n'utilisons les données que pour faire fonctionner l'application (suivi de progression, synchronisation multi-appareils, système de parrainage, IAP). Nous ne vendons pas vos données. Suppression : vous pouvez supprimer votre compte et toutes vos données directement depuis l'application (Profil → Compte → Supprimer le compte et toutes les données), via notre page dédiée Account Deletion Request, ou en envoyant un email à contact@peachboom.app (objet : "Data deletion request"). La demande par email est également disponible via le bouton "Request account deletion (via email)" dans la section Account du Profil.
